The Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of the power conferred by section 129(5) of the Transport Act 1985(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:–

1.  This Order may be cited as the Transport Act 1985 (Modifications in Schedule 4 to the Transport Act 1968) (Further Modification) (Amendment) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 5th December 1993.

2.  The Transport Act 1985 (Modifications in Schedule 4 to the Transport Act 1968) (Further Modification) Order 1993(2) is hereby amended by the substitution in article 1 of “6th December 1993” for “9th December 1993”.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order amends the Transport Act 1985 (Modifications in Schedule 4 to the Transport Act 1968) (Further Modification) Order 1993 by changing the date on which that Order comes into force from 9th December to 6th December 1993.
