The Smoke Control Areas (Exempted Fireplaces) Order 1993

SCHEDULE

Class of fireplace	Conditions
The Apollo incinerator types 10, 25 and 50 manufactured by Apollo Incineration Systems Limited.	1. The incinerators shall be installed, maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions dated 2nd November 1992 and bearing the reference “Apollo 10–25– 50”. 2. No fuel shall be used other than wood, wood shavings, cardboard and polythene.
The Clearview models 650 and 750, and the Vision 500 model, manufactured by Clearview Stoves.	1. The fireplaces shall be installed, maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions dated 1st January 1993 and, in the case of the Clearview models 650 and 750, bearing the reference “1/42” and, in the case of the Vision 500 model, bearing the reference “V1/42”. 2. No fuel shall be used other than firewood which has been split, stacked and air dried.
The Farm 2000 boilers HT60, HT70, HT80 and BB154/2V manufactured by Farm 2000 Limited.	1. The boilers shall be installed, maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions which, in the case of models HT60, HT70 and HT80, are dated 1st July 1993 and bear the reference “HT60/70/80”, and, in the case of model BB154/2V, are dated 1st September 1993 and bear the reference “9/93”. 2. No fuel shall be used other than cereal straw.

The boilers shall be installed, maintained and operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions which, in the case of models HT60, HT70 and HT80, are dated 1st July 1993 and bear the reference “HT60/70/80”, and, in the case of model BB154/2V, are dated 1st September 1993 and bear the reference “9/93”.

2. No fuel shall be used other than cereal straw.
