34.  For section 178(1) (costs) substitute—

An agreement between the landlord and qualifying person claiming to exercise the right to buy is void in so far as it purports to oblige the qualifying person to bear any part of the costs incurred by the landlord in connection with the qualifying person’s exercise of that right.
