57. In section 177 (errors and omissions in notices), in subsection (2)(1)—
(a)in paragraphs (a) and (b), for the references to the landlord substitute references to the freeholder; and
(b)after the words “the parties” insert the words “(including the landlord and an intermediate landlord)”.
Subsection (2) was amended by paragraph 106 of Schedule 17 to the Housing Act 1988 and paragraph 20 of Schedule 21 and Schedule 22 to the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993.
