Consequential changes in electoral arrangements

5.  The area described in the Schedule to this Order (being the area transferred by article 4 of this Order)–

(a) shall cease to form part of electoral division 69 (Murray/Avondale) of Strathclyde Region(1) and of ward 15 (Avondale North) of East Kilbride District(2); and

(b) shall form part of electoral division 71 (Eastwood South) of Strathclyde Region and of ward 10 (Busby) of Eastwood District(3).

The electoral divisions of Strathclyde Region were constituted by S.I. 1979/673, to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.

The wards of East Kilbride District were constituted by S.I. 1981/489.

The wards of Eastwood District were constituted by S.I. 1980/1132.
