This Order revokes the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning) (No.4) Order 1993 and the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning) (No.7) Order 1993 which prohibited–
(a)fishing for or taking scallops and mussels as defined (article 1), within the area designated in the Schedule respective to each Order (article 4),
(b)movement of such scallops and mussels out of that area (article 5),
(c)landing, using in the preparation or processing for supply of food of, supplying and other specified activities in relation to, such scallops and mussels from the designated area within the United Kingdom (article 6).
The effect of this Order is to remove completely the prohibition in fishing for, taking, moving, landing, using in food production and supplying scallops and mussels from the area designated in the Schedule respective to each Order.
