9. In paragraph 4 of the Appendix to the Aided Pupil Scheme, for the words “pursuant to a scheme approved by the Secretary of State under section 50(4) of the Adoption Act 1958” there shall be substituted the words “pursuant to regulations made under section 57A of the Adoption Act 1976(1)”, and for the words “pursuant to section 34(6) of the Children Act 1975” there shall be substituted the words “under paragraph 15 of Schedule 1 to the Children Act 1989(2), any assistance given by a local authority in cash under paragraph 5 of Schedule 2 to that Act and any payment made by a local authority under paragraph 16 of that Schedule”.
