Offences and penalties

7.  A person who contravenes regulation 2, 3, 4 or 5, or causes or permits another person to contravene one of those regulations, shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable, on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale and, on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or a fine, or both.
