RATING AND VALUATION

The Non-Domestic Rating Act 1993 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1993

The Secretary of State for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 6(2) of the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1993(1), and of all the other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order—

1.  This Order may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1993 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1993.

2.  The Non-Domestic Rating Act 1993, in so far as it is not already in force, shall come into force on 6th July 1993.

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the Order)

Article 2 of this Order brings into force on 6th July 1993 all the provisions of the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1993 which are not already in force.

Sections 1(2) and 4 of the Act were brought into force on 4th June 1993 by the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1993 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1993 (S.I. 1993/1418).
