This Order makes mainly small changes to the boundary between—
(a)Greater London (London borough of Hounslow) and the county of Surrey (borough of Spelthorne); and between
(b)the London boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond Upon Thames.
One minor consequential change is made to the boundary between Greater London (Richmond Upon Thames) and Surrey (Spelthorne). Consequential changes are made to local government electoral areas, petty sessional areas/divisions and coroners' districts. No parishes are affected.
The map and table forming part of this Note (Pages 4 to 6) give a general guide to the location, area and population of the land affected.
Prints of the detailed order maps (described in article 2) may be inspected at all reasonable times at the offices of the council for each borough or London borough affected, and additionally at the offices of the Secretary of State for the Environment located in 2, Marsham Street, London SW1P 3EB.
The Greater London and Surrey (County and London Borough Boundaries) Order 1993 (S. I. 1993 No. 1148) will transfer areas between Greater London and the county of Surrey, affecting the boundaries of the London borough of Croydon with the borough of Reigate and Banstead, and with the district of Tandridge.
The Greater London and Surrey (County and London Borough Boundaries) (No. 2) Order 1993 (S. I. 1993 No. 1208) makes a change to the boundary between Surrey (district of Spelthorne) and Greater London (London borough of Richmond upon Thames).
The Greater London and Surrey (County and London Borough Boundaries) (No. 3) Order (S. I. 1993 No. 1319) makes mainly small changes to the boundary between Greater London and Surrey, affecting the London boroughs of Sutton and Croydon, and the Surrey boroughs of Epsom and Ewell, and Reigate and Banstead.
All these orders come into full effect on 1st April 1994.

Transfer to unite St. Margaret’s Estate in Richmond, realigning boundary to the River Crane. Area transferred includes pleasure gardens, St. Peter’s Road, St. Margaret’s Drive, St. Margaret’s Road, Haliburton Road and Northcote Road.
Transfer to Richmond of area of Butts Farm Estate by realigning boundary to the eastern side of Great Chertsey Road. Area transferred includes The Broadlands, Butts Crescent, Whiteley’s Way and Glebe Way.
Transfer at Forge Lane to unite St. Richard of Chichester Church in Hounslow.
Transfer to unite Whitton Manor Road and Old Manor Drive in Richmond.
to follow course of River Crane between Hounslow Cemetery and Great Chertsey Road;
to unite Isleworth Ait in Hounslow;
to follow Shepperton to Waterloo railway line north of Kempton Park and south of reservoir;
to southern side of Whitton Drive, then eastern side of Rugby Road, then rear of properties in Whitton Road and Marlow Crescent;
to more defined boundary at Kneller Hall/Kneller Garden/ Queensbridge Park playing field; and
to southern side of Park Avenue/Whitton Dene between Argyle Avenue and Shirley Drive.
