The Robert Gordon University (Scotland) Order of Council 1993

Article 21

SCHEDULE 2 VARIATIONS AND REVOCATIONS OF THE CENTRAL INSTITUTIONS (SCOTLAND) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1981

1.  For regulation 1 there shall be substituted the following regulation:

“Citation and commencement

1.   These Regulations may be cited as the Central Institutions (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1981 and shall come into operation on 22nd October 1981.”.

2.  Within regulation 2(1) for “The Governors of Robert Gordon’s Institute of Technology” there shall be substituted “The Governors of The Robert Gordon University”.

3.  After regulation 2 there shall be inserted the following regulation:

“Application of The Robert Gordon University (Scotland) Order of Council 1993

2A.   These Regulations are amended by and shall be subject to The Robert Gordon University (Scotland) Order of Council 1993 in respect of all matters provided for in that Order.”.

4.  At the end of regulation 8(1) there shall be inserted “and The Robert Gordon University (Scotland) Order of Council 1993”.

5.  For regulation 8 paragraph (4) there shall be substituted the following paragraph:

“(4) Subject to these regulations and to The Robert Gordon University (Scotland) Order of Council 1993 and to any conditions which may be imposed on the Governing Body, as conditions of payment of grant, the Governing Body shall make such arrangements as it thinks fit for the conduct of the financial affairs of the University.”.

6.  Save for regulations 1 (as stated above), 2(1) (as amended above), 2A (as stated above), 6(2) to 7 inclusive, 8 (as amended above) and 12(1) and Schedule 2 which remain in effect, all other provisions and Schedules of the Central Institutions (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1981 are revoked.
