Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order extends to Scotland only. It increases from £5,000 to £10,000 the maximum aggregate sum permitted to be paid to players as winnings in respect of all “linked” games of bingo.

It also increases from £2,000 to £2,250 the maximum amount by which weekly winnings on any particular bingo club premises may exceed the aggregate amount of the stakes hazarded.
