The Secretary of State for the Environment, having consulted the Buckinghamshire County Council and the Milton Keynes Borough Council and being satisfied that the purposes for which the Milton Keynes Development Corporation is established under the New Towns Act 1981(1) have been substantially achieved, in exercise of powers conferred on him by section 41 of and paragraphs 2(1) and 3(4) of Schedule 10 to that Act and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order–
