This Order gives effect to proposals made by the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland for a change to electoral arrangements for the Western Isles Islands Area (the Area) as described in the Schedule to the Western Isles Islands Area (Electoral Arrangements) Order 1977 (the 1977 Order).
