9. Section 31(1) of the Credit Unions Act 1979(1) (interpretation) shall have effect as if the reference to an institution authorised under the Banking Act included a reference to a European deposit-taker.
Section 31(1) has been amended by section 108 of, and paragraph 7(2) of Schedule 6, and Part I of Schedule 7 to, the Banking Act 1987 (c. 22).
