(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Artificial Insemination (Cattle and Pigs) (Fees) Regulations 1987 by revising the fees payable in connection with the issue of licences and approvals under certain Regulations relating to the artificial insemination of cattle and pigs and in connection with tests and examinations carried out for the purposes of those Regulations (regulations 2, 4 and 5 and Schedules). The old fees are shown in the second column of the Schedule.
The Regulations introduce fees for special farm storage movement licences for the first time. They also distinguish between approvals for bulls and boars for domestic use and examination of those animals for establishment approved for export to EC countries.
