The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of powers conferred on her by sections 29 and 126(4) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

(1)

1977 c. 49; See section 128(1) for the definitions of “prescribed” and “regulations”; section 29 was amended by paragraphs 42 and 93 of Schedule 1 to the Health Services Act 1980 (c. 53) (“the 1980 Act ”), modified by article 7(3) of S.I.1985/39, and further amended by paragraph 2 of Schedule 6 to the Health and Social Services and Social Security Adjudications Act 1983 (c. 41); section 126(4) was amended by section 65(2) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19).
