Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Building (Amendment of Prescribed Fees) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 1st October 1992.

The Building (Prescribed Fees etc.) Regulations 19853 are amended in accordance with the following paragraphs of this regulation.

In Schedule 1 (small domestic buildings) there shall be substituted—
a
for “£95” in both paragraphs 2 and 5, “£104”, and
b
for Tables 1 and 2, the following Tables—

In Schedule 2 (small garages, carports and certain alterations and extensions) there shall be substituted—
a
in paragraph 1, for “£15”, “£45” and “£60” respectively, “£16”, “£50” and “£66”, and
b
for the Table in paragraph 2, the following Table—

Transitional Provisions3
These Regulations shall not affect the application of the Building (Prescribed Fees etc.) Regulations 1985 in relation to work in respect of which—
a
b
an initial notice or a public body’s notice was given under section 47(1) (giving and acceptance of initial notice) or 54(1) (giving, acceptance and effect of public body’s notice) of the Building Act 1984,
before 1st October 1992, notwithstanding that on or after that date a notice is or hasbeen given, or plans are or have been deposited, in respect of substantially the same work.
