The Secretary of State in exercise of the power conferred on him by paragraph 1 of Schedule 5 to the Telecommunications Act 1984(1) hereby makes the following Order:—

(1)

1984 c. 12. The relevant period was prescribed as five years by the Telecommunications Act 1984 (Extension of Relevant Period) Order 1986 (S.I. 1986/1275) and extended to eight years by the Telecommunications (Extension of Relevant Period) (No. 2) Order 1989 (S.I. 1989/1232).
