Citation, commencement and extent

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Seed Potatoes (Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 1992 and shall come into force on 28th April 1992.

(2) These Regulations shall extend to Scotland only.

Revocation of previous Regulations

2.  The Seed Potatoes (Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 1990(1) are hereby revoked.

Payment of fees

3.  There shall be paid in advance in respect of the matters arising under the Seed Potatoes Regulations 1991(2) referred to in the Schedule hereto, or under any Regulations amending or superseding them, the fees respectively specified in the second column of the said Schedule opposite the references to such matters.

4.  The said fees shall be payable to the Secretary of State.

Exemptions

5.  The Secretary of State may exempt any person or class of person or persons generally from compliance in whole or in part with the provisions of these Regulations in relation to payment of fees and any exemptions so made may be made subject to conditions.
