This Order appoints 20th May 1991 as the day upon which the revisedCode of Practice on trade union ballots on industrial action which isbeing issued by the Secretary of State under section 12 of theEmployment Act 1990 comes into effect. The Code was originally issued inApril 1990, and has been revised in order to bring it into conformitywith changes made by the Employment Act 1990 to the law relating totrade union ballots on industrial action.
