This Order provides for changes in electoral arrangements associated with the boundary changes made by the Gloucestershire (District Boundaries) Order 1991. It makes changes in the electoral divisions of the county of Gloucestershire and the wards of the borough of Cheltenham, the district of Cotswold, the city of Gloucester, the district of Stroud and the borough of Tewkesbury.
The Order gives effect, with modifications, to proposals submitted to the Secretary of State by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England. The modifications relate to the names of two county electoral divisions and the number of representatives of one district ward.
