Exemption of special treatment

3.  With respect to the Return to Work Programme, section 8 of the Employment Act 1989 shall apply to any special treatment afforded to or in respect of lone parents–

(a)by the fixing of any special condition for participation in the Programme, or

(b)by the making of any payment in respect of the care of a child of a lone parent while that lone parent is participating in the Programme.
