Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(1)
The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of powers conferred by section 166(1) to (3A) of the Social Security Act 1975(1) and sections 51(1)(a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (g), (h), (k), (m), (n), (q) and (r), 51B and 84(1) of the Social Security Act 1986(2) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, by this instrument, which contains only provisions consequential on the Disability Living Allowance and Disability Working AllowanceAct 1991(3) and is made before the end of the period of 6 months from the coming into force of that enactment, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1975 c. 14; subsection (3A) of section 166 was inserted by section 62 of the Social Security Act 1986 (c. 50) and section 166(1) to (3A) is applied by section 83(1) of the Social Security Act 1986.
1986 c. 50; section 84(1) is cited because of the meaning it ascribes to the word “regulations”. Section 51B was inserted by section 135 of and Schedule 10 to the Local Government Finance Act 1988 c. 41.
