Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Order)
Section 3(1) and (3) to (6) and section 4 of the Statutory Sick Pay Act 1991 came into force on Royal Assent. This Order provides for the coming into force—
on 14th February 1991 of provisions in section 2 of that Act (small employers relief) for the purpose of authorising the making of regulations expressed to come into force on 6th April 1991;
on 6th April 1991 for all the remaining provisions of that Act.
