TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

The Statutory Sick Pay Act 1991 (Commencement) Order 1991

The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 4(2) of the Statutory Sick Pay Act 1991(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Statutory Sick Pay Act 1991 (Commencement) Order 1991.

(2) In this Order, references to sections and to the Schedule are references to sections of and to the Schedule to the Statutory Sick Pay Act 1991.

Appointed Days

2.  The day appointed for the coming into force of—

(a)section 2 (small employers relief) for the purpose only of authorising the making of regulations expressed to come into force on 6th April 1991, is 14th February 1991;

(b)section 1, section 2, in so far as not already in force, and section 3(2) and the Schedule, is 6th April 1991.
