This Order amends the Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) (Scotland) Order 1986, which prescribes the “standard yield per hectare” and the “average yield per hectare” to be taken into account in determining the “standard yield” for the purposes of calculating the payment which a tenant in Scotland is entitled, by Schedule 2 to the Agriculture Act 1986, to obtain from his landlord in respect of milk quota on the termination of a lease of a tenancy.
This Order substitutes for the Schedule to that Order a new Schedule, in which the “standard yield per hectare” prescribed by article 3 of that Order is revised.
This Order also revokes the Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Order 1987, the Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) (Scotland) Amendment Order 1988 and the Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) (Scotland) Amendment Order 1990.
