(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend Part I of Schedule 1 to the Regional and District Health Authorities (Membership and Procedure) Regulations 1990 which list District Health Authorities in England which are to have at least one non-officer member who holds a post in a university with a medical or dental school.
In consequence of the abolition of Bristol and Weston, Frenchay and Southmead Health Authorities and the establishment of a new Bristol and District Health Authority “Bristol and District Health Authority” replaces the former entry for “Bristol and Weston Health Authority”.
1977 c. 49; section 128(1), which is cited for the definition of “prescribed”, was amended by section 26(2) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19).
