The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 56 of the Thames Barrier and Flood Prevention Act 1972(1) and now vested in them(2) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order–

1972 c.xlv. Section 3 defines “the Minister” and “the Ministers”.
(2)
In the case of the Secretary of State for Transport, by virtue of S.I. 1983/1127.
