EXTRADITION
This Order applies the Extradiction Act 1989 so as to make extraditable offences within the meaning of the Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986 (c. 32) and offences to which section 1 of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1987 (c. 41) relates, attempts to commit such offences and participation in the commission of such offences. It applies to certain States, Parties to the Convention against the Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, signed at Vienna on 20th December 1988; it does not apply to those States Parties (Commonwealth countries and Parties to the European Convention on Extradition) in relation to which the definition of extraditable offence already includes offences of the kind mentioned in the Order.
