Title and commencement

1.  This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 26th February 1990.

Amendment

2.  The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) Order 1978(1) shall be amended as follows—

(a)for the provisions of Schedule 1 to that Order (which lists disinfectants approved by the Minister) there shall be substituted the provisions of Schedule 1 to this Order;

(b)for the provisions of Schedule 2 to that Order (which lists disinfectants subject to transitional provisions) there shall be substituted the provisions of Schedule 2 to this Order; and

(c)in article 6(2) of that Order (which relates to disinfectants subject to transitional provisions) for the words “30th June 1989” there shall be substituted the words “30th June 1990”.

Revocation

3.  The Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) Order 1989(2) and the Diseases of Animals (Approved Disinfectants) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 1989(3) are revoked.
