Land registration
9. Registration of title to land under the Land Registration Acts 1925 to 1986(1) shall cease to be compulsory on sale in the area transferred by article 5 save insofar as section 154(1) of the Housing Act 1985(2), section 81(9) of, 108 of and Schedule 12 to, or 133(8) of the Housing Act 1988(3) or section 173 of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989(4) applies to any land situated in that area.
