The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 166(1) to (3A) of the Social Security Act 1975(1) and section 60ZA of the Social Security Pensions Act 1975(2), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, by this instrument, which contains only regulations made by virtue of or consequential upon section 14 of, and paragraph 12 of Schedule 4 to, the Social Security Act 1990 and which is made before the end of the period of 6 months beginning with the coming into force of those provisions(3), makes the following Regulations:

1975 c. 14. Section 166(1) to (3A) applies to certain powers to make regulations under the Social Security Pensions Act 1975 by virtue of section 66(2) of that Act.

1975 c. 60. Section 60ZA was inserted by paragraph 12 of Schedule 4 to the Social Security Act 1990 (c. 27).
