The Environmental Protection Act 1990 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1990

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 164(3) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

1.

This Order may be cited as the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1990.

2.  Section 89(7), (8), (9), (11), (12) and (13) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 shall come into force on 13th November 1990.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force on 13th November 1990 section 89(7), (8), (9), (11), (12) and (13) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 which relate to the preparation, issuing, consideration and modification or withdrawal of a code of practice for the purpose of providing practical guidance in Great Britain on the duty to keep certain land clear of litter and refuse and to keep highways and roads clear of litter and refuse and clean.
