The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 249(4) and (9) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby with the consent of the Treasury makes the following Order a draft of which has been laid before and approved by resolution of the House of Commons:

1987 c. 26; section 249 was amended by paragraph 15 of Schedule 7 and paragraph 7 of Schedule 8 to the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 (c. 43) and by S.I. 1987/2269.
