The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 49(1) and (3) of the Land Drainage Act 1976(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—

1976 c. 70; section 49(1) was amended by S.I. 1978/319, and by the Water Act 1989 (c. 15), Schedule 15,paragraph 1(1); section 49(3) was amended by the Water Act 1989, Schedule 15, paragraphs 1(1) and 21. The expression “the Minister” is defined in section 116(1) of the Land Drainage Act 1976, read with S.I. 1978/272 and the Water Act 1989, Schedule 15, paragraph 1(2).
