Commencement

2.—(1) Except for the provisions mentioned in paragraph (2) below, the 1989 Act shall, so far as not already in force(1), come into force on 26th February 1990.

(2) The provisions which are not brought into force by this Order are—

(a)section 10(1)(b) and Part II of Schedule 3 so far as they repeal section 119A of the Factories Act 1961(2);

(b)paragraph 6 of Schedule 6 and section 29(3) so far as relating thereto; and

(c)the following repeals in Part III of Schedule 7 and section 29(4) so far as relating thereto:—
