The Secretary of State on the application of the Cholsey and Wallingford Railway Preservation Society and in exercise of powers conferred by sections 7, 9, 10, 11 and 12 of the Light Railways Act 1896(1) as amended by the Light Railways Act 1912(2) and Part V of the Railways Act 1921(3) and by section 121(4) of the Transport Act 1968(4) and now vested in him(5) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Order:—
