Prohibition of sale by unregistered producers not exempted
18. The sale of milk, either within the area of the Scheme or elsewhere, by any producer who is not either a registered producer or a person exempt or exempted from registration by or under the provisions of the Scheme, is prohibited except as provided for by Articles 7 and 8 of Council Regulation (EEC) No. 1422/78(1), and subsection (6) of section 6 of the Act shall apply accordingly.
