2.—(1) Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Motor Vehicles (Type Approval) Regulations 1980(1) is hereby amended as follows.
(2) In column 2—
(a)in item 20, there is added—
| “or 76/756/EEC as amended by 80/233/EEC, 82/244/EEC, 83/276/EEC, 84/8/EEC as corrected in O.J. L135, 22.5.1984, p. 27 and 89/278/EEC as corrected in O.J. L114, 27.4.89, p.52 | 28 March 1989 | O.J. L109, 20.4.89, P.38”; |
(b) in item 23, there is added—
| “or 76/759/EEC as amended by 89/277/EEC as corrected by corrigenda published in O.J. L114, 27.4.89, p.52 | 28 March 1989 | O.J. L109, 20.4.89, p.25”. |
(3) After item 40, there is added the following new item—
| “41 | 89/297/EEC 13 April 1989 | O.J. Ll24, 5.5.89, p.1 | Lateral protection (side guards) of certain motor vehicles and their trailers”. |
