The Army, Air Force and Naval Discipline Acts (Continuation) Order 1989

Whereas a draft of the following Order in Council has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament:
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 1(2) of the Armed Forces Act 19861, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered as follows:–

The Army Act 19552, the Air Force Act 19553 and the Naval Discipline Act 19574 shall continue in force for a period of twelve months beyond 31st August 1989 that day being the day on which they would otherwise expire.

This Order may be cited as the Army, Air Force and Naval Discipline Acts (Continuation) Order 1989.
