The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 76, 77 and 155 of, and Schedule 20 to, the Social Security Act 1975(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after reference to the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council(2), hereby makes the following Regulations:

1975 c. 14; section 77 was amended by the Social Security and Housing Benefits Act 1982 (c. 24), Schedule 5, and the Social Security Act 1986 (c. 50), Schedule 3, paragraph 13; Schedule 20 is cited because of the meanings ascribed to the words “Prescribe” and “Regulations”.
