The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 52(1)(b)(ii) and 60 of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981(1), and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 61(2) of that Act(2), hereby makes the following Regulations:

1981 c. 14; section 52(1)(b) was amended by the Transport Act 1985 (c. 67), Schedule 2, Part II, paragraph 4(14)(a), and is to be read with the Department of Transport (Fees) Order 1988 (S.I. 1988/643); section 60(1) was amended by the Transport Act 1985, section 134(2) and Schedule 2, Part II, paragraph 4(18).

Section 61(2) was amended by section 135 of the Transport Act 1985.
