The South West Water Authority (River Lew Discharge) Order 1988

The Secretary of State for the Environment, on the application of the South West Water Authority, and in exercise of powers conferred on him by sections 1 and 2(3)(1)of the Water Resources Act 1971(2), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

1.  This Order may be cited as the South West Water Authority (River Lew Discharge) Order 1988 and shall come into force on the 29th April 1988.

2.  The South West Water Authority may for the purpose of augmenting the flow of the River Lew discharge water from the Roadford Reservoir into the River Lew at a discharge point between National Grid References SX 505968 and SX 508973 at a rate not exceeding 81,500 cubic metres per day.
