The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 9 and 12 of the Superannuation Act 1972(1) and Schedule 3 thereto, after consulting with representatives of the local education authorities, teachers and other persons likely to be affected in accordance with section 9(5) of the said Act, and with the consent of the Treasury, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
