Monklands East and Falkirk East
6. For the burgh constituency of Monklands East and the county constituency of Falkirk East as constituted by the Schedule to the 1983 Order (and described by reference to local government areas and electoral areas as they existed on 18th February 1983), there shall be substituted the constituencies which are named in column (1) of Part V of the Schedule to this Order and comprise the areas set out opposite in column (2), which areas are local government areas and electoral areas as they existed on 24th June 1988 (and accordingly as altered by the Strathclyde and Central Regions and Monklands and Falkirk Districts (Black Loch) Boundaries Amendment Order 1988(1)).
