Coming into force
The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in relation to England, and any marine waters adjacent to England, the Secretary of State for Scotland in relation to Scotland (including the marine waters thereof) and the Secretary of State for Wales in relation to Wales, and any marine waters adjacent to Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 13(1) of the Diseases of Fish Act 19371, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:—
Title and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Diseases of Fish (Definition of “Infected”) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 10th March 1988.
Amendment of definition of “infected” in Diseases of Fish Act 19372
In the definition of “infected” in section 10(1) of the Diseases of Fish Act 19372, after the words “furunculosis of salmon,” there shall be inserted the words “gyrodactyliasis caused by Gyrodactylus salaris,”.
Revocation3
The Diseases of Fish Order 19663 is hereby revoked.
In witness whereof the Official Seal of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food is hereunto affixed on 9th February 1988.
