TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING, ENGLAND AND WALES
These Regulations are concerned with the implementation in England and Wales of Council Directive 85/337/EEC (OJ No. L175, 5.7.85, p. 40.) on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment.

Application to the High Court25
For the purposes of Part XII of the Act (validity of certain decisions), the reference in section 24519 to action of the Secretary of State which is not within the powers of the Act shall be taken to extend to a grant of planning permission in contravention of regulation 4 of these Regulations.
