Such cordless telephone apparatus, because it does not comply with Performance Specification MPT 1322, as amended, and operates on channels not allocated for telephone use by that Specification, is likely to cause interference to other radio users.

Under article 4 of the Order exempt cordless telephones must be marked to show that they comply with Performance Specification MPT 1322, as amended, in the manner indicated in the Schedule.

Copies of Performance Specification MPT 1322 are available free of charge from the Librarian, Radiocommunications Division, Department of Trade and Industry, Waterloo Bridge House, Waterloo Road, LONDON SE1 8UA.
