The Peterborough New Town (Exclusion of Land) Order 1987

The Secretary of State for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 2(1) of the New Towns Act 1981(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after consultation with the Peterborough Development Corporation, Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council, and being satisfied that it is expedient to do so, hereby makes the following order:—

1.  This order may be cited as the Peterborough New Town (Exclusion of Land) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 27th February 1987.

2.  In this order, “the map” means the map marked “Map referred to in the Peterborough New Town (Exclusion of Land) Order 1987” and signed by an Under Secretary of the Department of the Environment, which has been prepared in duplicate and of which one duplicate has been deposited, and is available for inspection, at the offices of the Peterborough Development Corporation and the has been deposited, and is available for inspection, at the offices of the Secretary of State for the Environment.

3.  The land specified in the Schedule to this order is hereby excluded from the area of Peterborough New Town.

SCHEDULE

The area of land consisting of approximately 1166 hectares shown enclosed by the outside edge of a black line and hatched blue on the map.
